Dear Shareholder,
I’m not sure I’m over January yet. What a month, so many new friends, opportunities and so many blessings poured out on this awesome ministry.
If you haven’t heard about them, I’ll give you just a quick review of some of the blessings:
- A local church funded us to be open on Saturdays for the next three years
- Four local churches let us take up teaching time to share about the Sanctity of Life
- Talented construction men from a partner church built and rebuilt shelving in our warehouse
- Five of our church partners collected a special financial gift to bless the Pregnancy Center
- Over 12 pallets of donated goods (diapers, wipes, Kleenex, toilet paper, pull ups)
- Our new websites went live, com and PregnancyFamily.org
- New DONATED computers and desk chairs
- New Emails for all staff (I’ll list them at the end)
All of that in just the first month of the year, WOW!!! God is so Good. I was able to share a bit of my gratitude at one church and I just love the following scripture. It communicates exactly how I feel about the abundance of the blessings and the source.
Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us – to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen
Looking forward there are still so many things to be done at the pregnancy center and in the community. There are some beautification projects I’m looking for funding to install heat blocking window film and new signage on our doors. My desire is to make our center so attractive that ladies will stop and see us instead of driving down the street to Planned Parenthood.
The event planning committee is working hard on our upcoming Walk for Life. I’d like to announce and invite you to join us as we Walk with a Clear Vision Saturday April 25th at 10am. Every time I think of this event the song with the lyrics, “I can see clearly now the rain is gone….” runs through my head. Mark your calendars and be on the lookout, information coming soon to our website PregnancyFamily.org, our Facebook (Pregnancy & Family Resource Center) and Instagram (pregnancyandfam) pages, Walk with a Clear Vision, Saturday April 25, 2020 10am.
I’m also looking for dedicated, strong, mature Christian men and women to join our Board of Directors. I would love to have a Pastor (current or retired) and another with a strong business background. Sound like you? Someone you know? Call me or drop by and let’s talk. We do have an application and interview process for our Board candidates.
I greatly appreciate each and every one of our “Shareholders” and the love that you pour into this ministry. As our Ultrasound Tech prays over us each morning, Lord let us serve you well. That is my prayer for all that have a hand in the Pregnancy & Family Resource Center, that we are doing it well. Each one of us has been gifted by God with Time, Talent and Treasure. I pray that you as well as our staff and volunteers are using our gifts in a manner that is honoring, glorifying and in accordance with God’s will.
Just today I came across this quote,
Lord, don’t let my desires blind me to your will – give me peace with whatever your plan is.
I know this was for me today, I asked, and He answered.
